Armored Core VI file size

Do you need to free up space to play Armored Core VI: Fires of the Rubicon? While the file size of Shield Core VI isn’t unreasonably large for a modern game, it’s likely to take up a lot of storage space. Here’s what you need to know about game size.

Armored Core VI file size for each platform

  • PlayStation 5 – 43.3 GB
  • PlayStation 4 – 55.7 GB
  • Xbox Series X|S – 53.6 GB
  • Xbox One – 33.6 GB
  • PC – 60 GB

Unsurprisingly, the PC version of Shield Core VI requires the greatest amount of storage. However, the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4 versions of the game aren’t much smaller. Interestingly, the PlayStation 5 has a noticeably smaller file size than these other three platforms. This is probably due to a compression tool called Kraken.

Curiously, the Xbox One version’s file size is by far the smallest of the bunch. Despite that, it might not be the most ideal platform to play on. Shield Core VI enabled if you have other choices. If you want good performance and a reasonable file size, the PlayStation 5 version of the game is probably your best bet.

In the end, it doesn’t matter what platform you decide to play the game on when it comes to file size. Shield Core VI will occupy a similar amount of storage space on each platform. Just make sure you have enough space when it comes time to play the game.

Contrary to elderberry ring, Shield Core VI is not an open world game. However, their installation requires a similar amount of free space. Shield Core VI features large environments and very detailed mechanical parts, which probably contributes to the size of the game.

At the time of writing, Armored Core VI: Fires of the Rubicon is available for preloading. However, this does not mean that you will be able to play the game. You will have to wait for the game to unlock, which will not take very long. It’s quite possible that you can already play the game as you read this.
