Last October, the French publisher operated a real tour de force with the arrival of Assassin’s Creed Origins. A real resurrection after the last rather disappointing opuses, Bayek’s adventures transported us to the heart of ancient Egypt and taught us more about the creation of the famous brotherhood. It is this theme that will be mainly treated in the DLC which will arrive in a few days.
So, “The Hidden Ones” will be released on January 23, 2018 and the events will take place 4 years after the base game. A whole new region can be explored, The Sinai, where the Roman forces maintain order. It will be possible to reach level 45 and many new pieces of equipment will answer the call. Owners of the season pass can download it for free, while others will have to pay €9.99.
Ubisoft will also offer two other big additions for Assassin’s Creed Origins. There will be the “Discovery Tour” which will allow you to explore Egypt by freeing yourself from all the scenario and gameplay aspect of the game. This will be an opportunity to learn more about this era and in particular about the conflicts or the inhabitants of this region. It will be a sort of open-air museum which will be free for all purchasers of the game. Otherwise, this mode will be in stand-alone at the price of 19.99€ on February 20, 2018.
Finally, the second DLC named “Curse of the Pharaohs” will offer a trip to Thebes in a completely new scenario there too. This expansion centered on Egyptian mythology will invite us to face supernatural creatures and players will be able to evolve Bayek up to level 55. There will also be new weapons, outfits and other pieces. Season pass holders will be able to get it for free and others will have to spend €19.99 on March 6, 2018.
The Assassin’s Creed Origins season pass is included in the game’s “Gold Edition” or can be obtained separately for €39.99.
