A Belgian game crowned best game of the year! Nominated in eight different categories, Baldur’s Gate 3 emerges as the big winner of the Game Awards 2023. Developed by the Belgian Larian studios, this success rewards hard work of more than six years led by a passionate and dedicated team. This award is also further proof of the talent present in Belgium in the world of video games.

The Larian Studios team thanked for its investment

The founder and director of the Larian studio, Swen Vincke, did not fail to salute the work accomplished by his entire team during the Game of the Year award ceremony in Los Angeles. “The Larian team has devoted their heart and soul to this game for six years, sometimes in very difficult circumstances”he declared as he went on stage after the announcement made by Timothée Chalamet.
