Unlike most MMORPGs currently on the market, Wayfinder does not allow players to select their race and class to create a character. Instead, you will choose a champion. These heroes vary in their skills, abilities, and playstyles, and with six available to start with, there’s something for everyone. But what are the best abilities for each Wayfinder character? Let’s find out!
Best character abilities in Wayfinder
When the game launches, six characters are available to choose from:
Each has a unique set of abilities that set them apart, allowing you to choose the style of play that suits you personally. From stealth to splash damage to the iconic tank class popular in every other RPG, Wayfinder has something for everyone!
Best abilities for Wingrave
While Wayfinder’s tank-like class Wingrave is often considered one of the weakest starting characters in the game, when played well, he’s a powerhouse. Additionally, Wingrave is one of the most versatile and versatile classes in the game, offering high damage and healing abilities to keep you and the whole team alive.
Right now, his best ability is choosing between Judgment and Righteous Strike. In this case, however, we must opt for the latter solution. Righteous Strike hits enemies with an explosive melee strike while also healing nearby teammates. It’s a double combo that can turn the tide of battle!
Best Capabilities for Silo
Silo is another character often seen as an inferior character in Wayfinder. Despite the community’s perception of him, Silo is able to directly control the entire battlefield, taking on a whole host of enemies solo.
When it comes to abilities, Silo Incendiary and oil bombs pair them extremely well to create a devastating area of effect attack that can deal a ton of damage to monsters. Start by throwing a petrol bomb to cover the field, then follow up with a firebomb to ignite all the mess and light up the bad guys.
Best abilities for Niss
If the community had to choose a favorite character in Wayfinder, it would probably be Niss. He’s a top-notch glass cannon capable of stealthy and quick movements, all thanks to his various skills that allow him to dash or dodge out of harm’s way.
However, when it comes to choosing one of the best wayfinder abilities for Niss, we have to choose Umbral aura. It’s an ability that imbues Niss with Umbral magic, causing her next three dodges to cause Shadow damage to a nearby enemy. Not only will you retreat tactically and live to fight another day, but chances are you’ll take an enemy with you!
Best abilities for Senja
While Wingrave is definitely an all-around tank, Senja is the ultimate tank class. He is a powerhouse capable of devastating attacks and defensive upgrades to keep himself and the team alive. That said, it is quite slow.
However, when it comes to Senja’s abilities, we have to choose Quick draw. This is one of the most exciting and captivating abilities. Lighting Pull uses a lightning bolt to pull a group of enemies in a large radius towards Senja. This is great for controlling low level mobs before a boss fight.
Best abilities for Kyros
If you want to play the traditional DPS class in Wayfinder, choose Kyros. It’s a deadly mix of magic and melee, dealing massive damage to enemies. However, like Niss, Kyros is a glass cannon with few defensive abilities. But you don’t need defense when your enemies are dead!
As for his abilities, Kyros excels with Siphon Radiant. This is a powerful explosive spell that releases a massive wave of energy in a circle directly around Kyros, dealing high damage and absorbing arcane power while reducing cooldowns and granting a single arcane shard . You see, there’s a lot going on with Siphon Radiant. If enemies get too close, use this ability to take a breather!
Best abilities for Venomess
If you prefer to play MMORPGs as a support class, like a healer or a debuff machine, then Venomess is for you. It’s perfect for those who enjoy status effects, using poison, needles, and bombs to deal damage over time.
However, when it comes to her best ability, Venomess’ Deep Breath is devastating. This is a damaging explosion that also applies 5 stacks of Empowered Venom, which deals additional damage over time and counts as Venom for the Master of Venoms and Transfusion. As her abilities mostly debuff, it’s often best to play Venomess in a party, although it’s definitely not a requirement!
