While Overwatch is still of interest to gamers, Blizzard Entertainment is unsurprisingly already looking to the future. If the publisher has not announced any official plans so far, a job offer nevertheless reveals the company’s next project(s).
Consultable here, the position concerns a “senior software engineer, gameplay, vehicles” with the aim of perform an unannounced FPS.
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a skilled gameplay engineer to help create vehicles and shape driving mechanics in a solid unadvertised FPS. The ideal candidate has proven experience in the handling of vehicles, with knowledge in other areas such as physics, animation and cameras.
So new IP or following an Overwatch 2 with the implementation of vehicles? It will probably be necessary to be patient before having the official information.
