Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: Xbox One still behind

The information was kept secret until the last minute, but we now know the resolution of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on PS4… and especially Xbox One! This is Michael Condrey, the co-founder of the studio Sledgehammer Games which specified that its title will run in 1080p on PS4, but at times in a lower resolution for its main competitor.

“The resolution on Xbox One is 1360×1080, and dynamically upscaled to 1080p. This represents 50% more than last year. On PS4, the game runs natively at 1080p and 60fps is achieved on both consoles.

For memory, Call of Duty: Ghosts only displayed 720p on One but ran at 1080p on PS4. The gap has now partly closed, but the two versions are therefore not yet identical. At this rate, parity will perhaps be for the next opus…

In any case, you can buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare today in an official way, and whether on PS4, Xbox One or PC, don’t forget that the main thing is to have fun with the controller (or mouse) in hand!
