The third ESpot B-Cup is scheduled to take place on December 9, 2023. This unique event mixes online and in-person chess with the exciting addition of a live audience; These are competitive failures, but not quite as you know them!

What is the B cup?
The B-Cup is an ongoing series of tournaments organized by French chess player and streamer Kevin Bordi. The event takes place at Espot Paris, the largest e-sports complex in France, just opposite the iconic Louvre Museum. Bordi, also known as BlitzStream, will take the event to new heights this year alongside WFM Anna Cramling, who will provide commentary and coverage of the event. Last year’s champion Kosteniuk will be back, as will Sardoche and general manager Etienne Bacrot, alongside other titled and non-titled participants.
Online Ball Arena
Chess.com members are also invited to join the online portion of B-Cup 3. Although the main event takes place on-site, an online ball arena can be joined through the official Blitzstream club.
The ball arena will start at 3:50 p.m. (Paris time) (local Paris time) / 7:50 a.m. ET, with a time control of 1+0. The winner advances to the B-Cup finals, giving you an incredible chance to play alongside chess legends!
