Dead Rising 4: the zombies have started at Christmas time

For its fourth episode, Dead Rising did not do things by halves by delivering a decidedly fun opus, partly thanks to the abandonment of the time mechanic which could frustrate some players.

To prolong this regressive but enjoyable pleasure, Dead Rising 4 got a Christmas DLC which is already available on Xbox One for a price of €3.99. However, it is free for season pass owners. Of course, everything in Willamette was customized accordingly, including the enemies. So you will have the opportunity to beam zombie elves, zombie snowmen or even overcooked cookies who want revengewhile obviously dressed in a Santa Claus costume.

But if there is one thing that characterizes the series, it is the presence of weapons, each one crazier than the last. This additional content therefore perpetuates the tradition, and will offer you the opportunity to decimate the living dead using: a baseball bat decorated with garlands and picks, a giant candy cane club. As for vehicles, you won’t have a classic sled, but a big engine with a reindeer’s head. Last modification to note, you will still be able to take selfies, with the difference that the outlines of your photos will benefit from an appropriate theme.

Additionally, Capcom Vancouver indicated that two difficulty modes would arrive in early 2017. For now, we just know that enemies should deal more damage, weapons will break faster, and food will restore less health than before.
