Since its announcement at E3 2016, Death Stranding has only shown up with cinematic videos and no gameplay footage. Thus, many wondered what the state of development could be. If distant release dates seem appropriate, Kojima Productions could well make all the press and analysts lie.
The Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation was able to talk to many studios in the industry, with the aim of discussing their projects for 2018. You will have understood it, Hideo Kojima’s team went there with their little statement and it is worth the detour.
Death Stranding’s development is going so well that Sony Interactive Entertainment told us, “We’ve never seen a game made so quickly before.” We have planned an announcement that will surprise everyone in 2018.
Without saying more, Kojima Productions may suggest that a release date would not be so far off after all. We will therefore have to wait until next year to learn more about this mysterious announcement.
