EA wants adjusted in-game difficulty but more balanced matchmaking

In October 2017, Activision revealed that they were working on a new matchmaking system between players to encourage microtransactions. So far, this system has not yet been implemented in game. But here it is, Activision is no longer the only publisher to want to get rid of the balanced matchmaking system between players. There’s nothing wrong with having real-time difficulty adjusted, if it’s still a fair system for everyone. But what if such a mechanism were implanted in a Dark Souls or one nioh ? These games would almost immediately lose all of their charm. At the moment this system of unbalanced matches has not yet been put in the games, but nothing says that it will not come with those to come like Anthem.
