Like almost all battle royales (BRs), Farlight 84 is all about survival. Regardless of which team manages to survive on the surrounding map, dangerous enemies earn a victory under their belt. However, when you encounter other teams and people, they will try to eviscerate everyone in their field of vision, and that could be you. Fortunately, there are shields that players can upgrade and equip during a match, much like Apex Legends. This means your shield will take the bulk of the damage for you before depleting your actual health bar. And if you’re lucky enough to survive a fight or two, you’ll need to replenish your armor. So let’s jump right in and take a look at Farlight 84: How to Restore the Shield?
How to upgrade your shield in Farlight 84
As we mentioned above, the shields in Farlight 84 are somewhat similar to the shields in the Apex Legends game. But where this similarity ends is the restoration function of said shields, which the Farlight 84 does a little differently from other BRs. The main way to restore shields in Farlight 84 is to earn enough Shield XP in order to upgrade it. Furthermore, there is also shield chargers that players can find on the map. Using the same button as your medkits, you can recharge your current shield after waiting a few seconds.

There are different ways to upgrade your shield through Shield XP. As players navigate the map to stay alive, you can collect Shield XP, represented by a blue shield icon. This will earn you a certain amount of XP, and once you earn enough, your shield will not only replenish, but it will advance to the next shield level. Alternatively, if you defeat a player who has a higher upgraded shield, or if you find a better shield in the wild, you can easily equip it for your character.
