HoYoverse announced GenshinImpact Version 4.3 “Roses and Muskets” will be released on December 20. This major update marks the start of the Fontinalia Festival as the citizens of Fontaine celebrate peace after the end of a major crisis.
GenshinImpact Version 4.2 was the culmination of Fontaine’s main story, but more updates are on the way with new limited-time events and playable characters. Version 4.3 is one such update as players wait for the next chapter of Genshin Impact history.
Genshin Impact version 4.3 celebrates the Fontinalia festival
In version 4.3, players will celebrate the Fontinalia Festival with a unique film festival. This event will honor the tradition of the legendary Knights of the Loch, who hosted the previous Hydro Archon Egeria in Fontaine. Furina, the Kamisato siblings, the Traveler and Chiori will work together on a new film for this event. The Fontinalia Festival will also feature several mini-games ranging from designing a short film to training as a sniper. Players can earn theater tickets through mini-games to earn unique rewards, including the 4-star Claymore “Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword”.
Navia and Chevreuse will join GenshinImpact as playable characters in version 4.3. Navia is a 5-star Geo Claymore wielder and the President of Spina di Rosula. She is able to fire “Rosula Shardshots” from a gunbrella, and the number of shots is determined by the accumulation of crystal shards from elemental shards or an elemental explosion. Additionally, Navia’s Elemental Burst deals solid AOE Geo damage while bombarding enemies.
Chevreuse is a 4-star Pyro polearm wielder and the captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol. She can fire bullets from her musket that deal AoE Pyro damage, and she can provide useful healing with her elemental skill. Chevreuse’s explosive grenade can also split into multiple explosive shells upon impact. Players can summon Chevreuse and Navia from event wishes in version 4.3. Navia will arrive first alongside a replay of Kamisato Ayaka in Phase 1, followed by Chevreuse and replays of Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya in Phase 2.
Genius Invokation TCG will receive another major update with new maps, new NPCs, and a limited-time passionate battle mode. A new Fountain-style kingdom setup will be available for the Serenitea Pot. Additionally, players can expect new rewards from Itto’s Beetle Battle event and daily requests from Liben.
