Because yes, the facts are there: not an analyst nor a high-tech specialist is betting on a drop in the price of the iPhone 15 in 2023. Worse, after already an increase between 2021 and 2022, due in particular to the disappearance of the ‘iPhone 13 mini which opened the range at 809 euros compared to 1019 euros today for the classic iPhone 14, there would be another one next fall.

For several months, keen high-tech observers have been predicting a significant increase in the price of the iPhone 15. Some are talking about $200 to $250 for the Pro models. It would be less for the classic versions but very real all the same, especially if Apple decides to switch all its smartphones to the same photo regime, namely a 48 megapixel main sensor for the four models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro , iPhone 15 Pro Max. At the same time, the Cupertino company plans to slightly review its design, which will be more refined, while the “sound” button (on the left edge of the smartphone when you look at it) will change appearance since it will be customizable and without a small clap. “opening-closing” for the sound system. Finally, another change could be reflected in the price: the disappearance of the Lightning port for a USB Type-C charging port in order to comply with European law on smartphone charging solutions.
