Dubbed “Escape From Tarkov but Medieval,” Dark and Darker’s latest playtest not only brought the game back, but with all the new features. A new map, a new class, and even a whole new slot in your inventory. This slot is located to the right of your primary gear. Boasting an excellent armor rating, as well as decent stat boosts. How to get the cape in Dark and Darker

Acquiring this flowing piece of fabric can be a little tricky if you’re playing alone. These items aren’t just lying around in a pile of bones. According to players in the community, there might be a few different places players can find a cape. A cape can work for any class, and while capes are the only thing right now that fit in that specific inventory slot, the slot’s name isn’t cape, it’s his back. This means that with further updates and developments, it wouldn’t be surprising if there were other unique back pieces that were different from the capes.

For now, if you want to get your hands on a fancy back cape, one of the places you can find it is the Goblin Cave chest after defeating the Ogre boss. You can of course browse the market council and see if anyone sells one, but that requires having gold on hand and ready to spend. Alternatively, although rare, many people have found capes inside Lion Chests. These larger than average chests are usually surrounded by formidable enemies, so you’ll need a decent team or an invisibility potion if you want to check out some Lion Chests. While you’ll occasionally get capes from random mobs, these two (or three) methods are your fastest way to look like your favorite superhero. Just make sure you make it out alive. Otherwise, it will be someone else’s fancy cape.
