After repeatedly hearing Apple customers and iPhone owners complain about the (too) easy loss of their AirPods, Zarruk Taiseer, a visualizer and designer, wanted to offer the brand an ideal alternative that would merge with heart of a single device, the iPhone and its headphones. A perfect solution for keeping all your electronic accessories close to you. Taking the example of the Apple Watch, the designer revealed conceptual images that imagine this potential future product. In particular, it would solve the problem of separating AirPods and the smartphone.

According to Hypebeast, Zarruk Taiseer would have been inspired by the concept of Samsung’s flip phone to reimagine the iPhone. On the screen, the user will be able to access their applications via a touch screen. The other side appears to be the camera of the iPhone 13 Pro model, offering three lenses and 8K capability. Between the two folds, the AirPods. Fictionally named the “iPro”, it would aim to be a more versatile and portable device. This concept was born from Zarruk Taiseer’s idea to reinterpret the concept of the flip phone, finding a use other than reducing space. But the smaller screen makes it harder to use all those apps that shine on the 6.1- or 6.7-inch screen of Apple smartphones. If it remains only a simple idea for the moment, the “iPro” could give Cupertino engineers a clue to find a clever way to integrate AirPods into other products. It remains to be seen whether Apple will validate this designer’s innovative proposal.
