Kalimba (Project Totem) coming to Xbox One next month

Earlier in the year, we were able to discover the new game of Press Play, Project Totem. This retro-style platform/puzzle game has now revealed its release date, and also its new and final name, Kalimbawhich will be released on Xbox One on December 17, 2014 and in January 2015 on PC.

In this game, we can follow very colorful animated totems in their epic quest to overthrow the reign of the tyrannical Shaman and return the island of Kalimba to the power of its inhabitants, the Kalimbi. This game will offer a single player mode as well as a co-op mode. It is with humor that the Creative Director of Press PlayAsger Strandby, compares the latter to a “ friendship tester; If you can play this game and high five your teammate more than you slap them, then you’re ready to get married“.
Indeed, the co-op mode will be exclusively local to allow the two players to communicate properly.

The game was designed during the finalization of their other game, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Strandby describes the game as “ a chance to give free rein to our creativity and test our new ideas“.
