A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed to death while two other teenagers fight for their lives after a terrifying series of knife crimes in Luton yesterday.

Ashraf Habimana suffered multiple stab wounds and was tragically pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to hospital, according to The Sun.

A total of five teenagers were injured in two shocking attacks that police believe are linked.

Bedfordshire Police have launched a murder investigation and three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing.

Police said the incident happened at around 7pm on Friday, when officers were called to reports that three teenagers had been stabbed in Nunnery Lane.

Ashraf’s father, who did not give his name, told The Sun: “It’s terrible. He’s just a boy. He was only 16 years old.

“I heard it last night and I came from Yorkshire. We don’t know what happened.

An area near the Old Moat pub, cordoned off by police, was surrounded by 20 bouquets of flowers.

Luton community group Keeping Safe posted a tribute to Ashraf on Facebook.

A second teenager is being treated for life-threatening injuries, while a third victim also suffered serious injuries, but these are not considered critical.

The horror attack took place just hours after two other teenagers were stabbed in Sundon Park Road. Police were called at around 4 p.m. – where there was a fatal stabbing – at around 4 p.m. where a teenager is now in a critical condition.
