A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed to death while two other teenagers fight for their lives after a terrifying series of knife crimes in Luton yesterday.
Ashraf Habimana suffered multiple stab wounds and was tragically pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to hospital, according to The Sun.
A total of five teenagers were injured in two shocking attacks that police believe are linked.
Bedfordshire Police have launched a murder investigation and three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing.
Police said the incident happened at around 7pm on Friday, when officers were called to reports that three teenagers had been stabbed in Nunnery Lane.

Ashraf’s father, who did not give his name, told The Sun: “It’s terrible. He’s just a boy. He was only 16 years old.
“I heard it last night and I came from Yorkshire. We don’t know what happened.
An area near the Old Moat pub, cordoned off by police, was surrounded by 20 bouquets of flowers.
One card read: “Rest in eternal peace Ashraf. Safe in knowing you are loved.
Another note read: “Gone but never forgotten.” »
Luton community group Keeping Safe posted a tribute to Ashraf on Facebook.
A second teenager is being treated for life-threatening injuries, while a third victim also suffered serious injuries, but these are not considered critical.
The horror attack took place just hours after two other teenagers were stabbed in Sundon Park Road. Police were called at around 4 p.m. – where there was a fatal stabbing – at around 4 p.m. where a teenager is now in a critical condition.
Police have closed a street and put up cordons as they investigate the murder.

The second teenager was seriously injured, but his life is not in danger. Both are being treated in hospital as detectives investigate the attack. A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody for questioning.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit have opened a murder investigation and are currently treating the two incidents as linked.
Detective Inspector Lee Martin, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “Appalling violence in Luton claimed the life of a teenager yesterday and left two others in potentially dangerous conditions. fatal.

It follows the launch of a murder investigation following the death of a teenager in Slough who died earlier today.
The 19-year-old man died after police were called to Hampden Road at around 11.20am today.
Two men aged 19 and 21 were arrested and taken into police custody.
Detective Superintendent Stuart Bosley, lead investigating officer, said: “Tragically, this incident has resulted in the death of a young man.
“We are in the very early stages of our investigation and are still trying to establish the full circumstances. It is very important that if you have any information that could assist our investigation, you contact us as soon as possible.
Following this incident, a Section 60 order was put in place around the Slough area for 24 hours. This will give officers increased powers to carry out our stops and searches and to ensure public safety. The order can be increased at the end of the 24 hour period if this proves necessary.
