It was during a Keynote at DICE 2017 that Marvel Games creative director Bill Rosemann spoke about the Spider-Man game planned for PS4. The man talks about his relationship with Insomniac Games and the way in which the two firms share a common vision of the character.
You must have heard that we’re making a Spider-Man game with Insomniac Games and our friends at Sony. The other day we discussed this project… Insomniac is only ten minutes from the Marvel Games offices. We had lunch and talked about superheroes, wondering “when did we first discover Spider-Man?” »And we all realized we had the same story. We discovered the character when we were children. It’s not just that, we realized that we all had the same vision of Spider-Man.
So our goal is similar: to show the world how awesome Spider-Man is, to bring this fictional universe into ours. It’s very personal for us, we want to celebrate the character with the whole world
Remember that the game is planned exclusively for PS4 and that this is the first time that Insomniac Games has placed so many developers on a project.
