Mighty No.9, one more delay

The Kickstarter project Keiji Inafune (Megaman, Soul Sacrifice), Mighty No.9 still encounters difficulties and is forced to postpone his exit… a third time.

Serious network issues are behind this decision:

We’ve been working up until the last moment to resolve these issues and honor the February release, but we don’t have enough time to fix them and prepare for launch.

This delay is due to bugs in online modes, particularly with matchmaking. There are two major causes for this, the first is the large number of platforms the game is available on, and the second is that our engine is no longer receiving updates, meaning that adjustments for matchmaking and online code, are done manually.

Unfortunately, this is the consequence of bad calculations on our part. The result is that our fans have had to wait over six additional months, and for that we sincerely apologize. I would like to apologize personally, and on behalf of the team.

Nevertheless, the game is still aiming for availability in spring 2016.

Comcept Studio said there was no excuse:

For this third delay, we have no excuse for the disappointment caused, especially among our backers. We sincerely apologize to those who are waiting for the title.
