Mononoke no Kuni ‘Isekai’ Action RPG Announced at TGS 2023

Shinjuku-based development studio Studio Lights announced Mononoke no Kunia new isekai action RPG that will come to PC via Steam in spring 2024. This particular developer is responsible for the impressive lighting of the environments and cutscenes of Final Fantasy XVI.

Mononoke no Kuni was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2023, which takes place September 21-24 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Attendees will be able to try out the new action RPG for the first time. Additionally, a new press release from Studio Lights revealed more details for those unable to attend the annual event.

Mononoke no Kuni Unveiled

In Mononoke no Kuni, players go on an adventure with the puppy Musashi in an open world inhabited by monsters and gods. The new title includes elements of roguelite and farming simulation, so it should feel familiar to those who have played the game. Rune Factory RPG series. Mononoke no Kuni is coming to PC via Steam for the first time in Spring 2024. The game will also come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, iOS, and Android at a later date. The exact PlayStation platforms haven’t been confirmed, but the TGS 2023 booth includes a DualSense controller, so PS5 seems like a safe guess.
