Monster Hunter 6: Capcom teases the next game

The entire Monster Hunter fan community has been eagerly awaiting the Tokyo Games Show 2023 in Japan, hoping to hear some news about Monster Hunter 6. And now we have a pretty clear hint for the game!

Capcom shared a lot about its new games during the presentationincluding Dragon’s Dogma 2 gameplay trailer, new details on upcoming Street Fighter 6 Character DLC and the news that the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy will be available on Game Pass starting September 26.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t much Monster Hunter news to share during the Tokyo Game Show 2023 online schedule. However, Capcom provided a small update on Monster Hunter 6!

Capcom announced, March 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter seriesand they want to celebrate it all over the world and create a new website.

At the moment there isn’t much to see, but the Monster Hunter team left a message for everyone and one specific phrase stands out:

Monster Hunter: World has managed to resonate with people all over the world. Although the pandemic has prevented us from meeting many of you directly, you have sent us many warm messages online. We can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve brought to the series.

Plus, the last line finally seals the deal:

With 20 years of success behind us, we hope to continue this momentum and bring you bigger, better and even more exciting hunting experiences that will delight and surprise you.

Since Monster Hunter is Capcom’s most profitable franchiseand Monster Hunter: World is their best-selling game Either way, it’s likely that the next game will share many similarities with their most successful installment!

In the end, it’s only natural that fans are eager to know more about the next installment. But for now we have to be patient and let the developer cook a little more. until the 20th anniversary arrives in March 2024.
