A broadcast in January and some changes

A little less than a month away from its first real appearance, the NieR Automata animated series is now coming back to us with the attention of showing a little more. But only a little, because the video certainly does not break bricks in terms of length.

The new communication around NieR Automata is now targeting Commander White. The latter is not only entitled to a video bearing her likeness, but she also benefits from an illustration (visible via the Twitter post in particular) in which she occupies a significant part.

A fairly short trailer which gives us, once again, an overview of the visual of the adaptation and above all lets hear the voice of our charactera voice that, as in the game, is interpreted by the same actress: Chiaki Kanou. A presence that is so familiar to us, like Keiko Isobe and Meari Hatsumi who will play Operator 60 and Operator 210 respectively.

A broadcast in January and some changes

First the subject of rumors, then confirmed at the beginning of the year, the NieR Automata anime only returned last September to finally reveal some images and, at the same time, draw attention to a date broadcast stopped in January 2023. It was also the time for this adaptation to communicate some information about it such as, for example, the name of the seiyuu who will play our two heroes (2B and S9) or on the particularities that the anime. This is because, unlike the game, the work will indeed offer some changes, so as to adapt to its new medium. Hence the name NieR: Automata Ver1.1a. How exactly will they translate? We’ll see.

But before I can see what A1- Pictures (the studio in charge of the animated production) concocts usNieR Automata will likely have acquired a new audience, with the new Nintendo Switch port released in early October.
