No delay for Shenmue 3 and remasters in preparation?

Even if the news around Shen Mue 3 are relatively regular, they are not necessarily all interesting or comforting. The tweet below is worth what it’s worth but it has the merit of having been written by Cedric Biscay, a Frenchman who founded Shibuya Production, whose team is currently working on Shen Mue 3.

Two pieces of information should therefore be kept in mind: Shen Mue 3 is still planned for 2018 while questions remain about the progress of its development, and “other surprises” are in progress. It could either be other projects of Shibuya Production, or if Shenmue is concerned, the announcement of a remaster of the first two episodes? In short, in the absence of concrete information, we are dependent on the least declarations.

As a reminder, Shen Mue 3 is therefore still scheduled to be released in the second half of 2018, on PS4 and PC. Who believes in it?
