On PC, Battlefield 2042 players are returning to Battlefield V

Battlefield 2042 did not have a launch that can be considered successful. Even if the game is far from being missed, it must be said that its release was marred by many bugsafter messy development, and on PC it paid the price, with disastrous ratings from the community.

Having also lost members of his team, the game is nevertheless considered as the possible initiator of an extended universe for EA. Except that… the number of players is not looking good on PC, and the servers are struggling to stay above the average 15,000 players since two weeks.

Worse than that, on Christmas Day, the number of players on Battlefield V greatly exceeded that of its successor. We were counting on it 25,000 fighters against 19,000 on the other side. The balance of power seems since upset on the battlefield. According to the website steam charts, BF5’s servers know all players from peaks to over 20,000 players.

We are not going to talk about beginning of the end for BF2042but it would seem that fans of the franchise have a sense of nostalgia which must be well helped by the problems encountered on the game.
