One Piece is finally in Fortnite…sort of

The official X account of the One Piece live-action series on Netflix has trolled fans of the anime and Fortnite via a tweet that disappointed many characters.

For many months, a good part of Fortnite players have been waiting for a collaboration with the very famous manga and anime One Piece, which has captivated fans for several decades and continues to make news.

Is One Piece finally collaborating with Fortnite?

This question can be answered more or less simply with a yes or a no.

YesBecause to coincide with the release of live-action One Piece on Netflix, the official One Piece Netflix X account has released a teaser video of a map in Fortnite’s Creative Mode that hints at One Piece.

But No, as the “collaboration” is clearly not what fans expected. When we talk about collaboration on Fortnite, especially with very specific universes like Marvel, DC, Attack on Titan or One Piece, we expect to see skins of the main characters arriving in the store or in the Battle Pass.

As a result, many Fortnite players are disappointed with this Fortnite map created for the live action One Piece on Netflix, which is not really a collaboration with the famous manga.
