As COP 28 ends in three days, the Secretary General of OPEC called on its members not to accept agreements that go against fossil fuels. A position that shocked many participating countries.
Big cold snap at COP 28. A letter at the heart of all conversations. It was written by the secretary general of OPEC, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. It urgently calls on its members to proactively reject any agreement targeting fossil fuels.

This position arouses the fury of around a hundred countries, including those of the European Union. For them, this COP 28 must send the signal of the beginning of the end of fossil fuels.
