OPPO is entering the battle of flip smartphones with its Find N3 Flip. The device appears to be a strong competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Screen brightness comparison with Galaxy Z Flip 5
The Find N3 Flip has impressive screens. On the other hand, they are not as bright as those of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The cover screen of OPPO’s foldable reaches a maximum brightness of 800 nits. While the internal screen can go up to 1600 nits.
By comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits for the cover display and 1,750 nits for the inner display. In addition, Find N3 Flip’s cover screen offers more widgets than the previous version.. However, it does not run full apps like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 does.
Additional features and lack of water resistance
OPPO’s foldable has stereo speakers, GPS, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB Type-C port. With a 4300mAh battery, it supports fast charging up to 44W. However, unlike the Galaxy Z Flip 5, it is not rated IPX8 for water resistance.. Also, it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Price comparison between Find N3 Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 5
As for the cost, the 256GB model of the Find N3 Flip is listed at around $932 in the US. A price similar to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in Europe. Given its less capable processor and lack of IP rating, it might struggle to compete in appeal with the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
