Phil Spencer ‘There will be J-RPGs on Xbox One’

Unlike her big sister, the Xbox 360 had some great exclusives on Japanese games (despite the commercial failure of the console in Japan). Of course, we will think of the shoot’em ups from the Cave studio which delighted us, but also of some typically Japanese RPGs which never saw the light of day on PS3, such as Blue Dragon, The Last Remnant or even Lost Odyssey.

It is through Twitter that a player directly asks the question to Phil Spencerwho then responded to him.

At least the answer is clear! It remains to be seen whether these RPGs will be exclusives or multi-platform games, as will be the case with Final Fantasy XV or Kingdom Hearts 3, 2 games already announced on the console by Square Enix. We already knew that Microsoft offered Scalebound exclusivitydeveloped by the talented studio Platinum Games, but has the catastrophic launch of the Xbox One in Japan cooled the American giant?
