Pokémon Scarlet and Purple DLC final trailer revealed

The Pokémon Company has revealed the final trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Purple Part 2 DLC “The Indigo Disc”. Let’s see what we can expect!

On December 7, Pokémon launched a new and Pokémon Scarlet and Purple DLC final trailerexactly one week from DLC release December 14. Check out the trailer below:

Final DLC Trailer Reveals Pokémon Returns

In the trailer we can see that all the old starter Pokémon will return, introducing Snivy and Tepig for the first time on the Nintendo Switch console.

Not only that, but many older Pokémon from previous games, including Legendaries, are returning! The legendary Pokémon that you may encounter are:

  • Suicune
  • Lugia
  • Ho-Oh
  • Broads

New Pokémon in DLC Part 2

The new confirmed Pokémon are paradoxical forms of Raikou, Suicune (past) and Cobaltium and Virizion (future). Since each of them is part of a trio, we can expect Entei as well as Terrakion to get new forms as well.

And even deeper in the ground of Area Zero, we will certainly be able to find the new legendary Pokémon Terapagos, the legendary cover of the DLC part 2.

  • Archaludon (new evolution for Duraludon)
  • Unleashed Bolt (Raikou paradox)
  • Walking Wake (Suicune paradox)
  • Iron Crown (Cobaltium paradox)

  • Therapagos

New features

You can also expect many new features, such as facing academy students or former gym leaders again, running with your Pokémon’s point of view and flying, with Koraidon or Miraidon.

New events available

Alongside the trailer, Pokémon also announced new events:

  • Until December 21, 2023, you can challenge Palkia and Dialga in Tera Raid battles.
  • In the same time frame, you can receive Darkrai via a mystery gift with the following password: NEWM00N1SC0M1NG​​
  • Until January 3, 2024, you can get a shiny Lucario with the code “SH1NYBUDDY” and a Master Ball by receiving a gift via the internet
