Psychonauts 2 won’t be released in 2018

Those who knew Psychonauts at the time still remember it. Therefore, the announcement of a Psychonauts 2 by Double Fine Productionsthe studio of Tim Schafer, delighted many players. While the release was set for a vague 2018, the game team informs us that we will have to wait longer than that.

We now know more about the size and scope of the game we’re making, but also the time it takes to get there, and that’s great news. The bad news is that we now know that it will not be finished for 2018.

We are making great progress, and we know how long it will take us, but we don’t want to say anything until we have a definite date to announce to people.

You would have understood it, Double Fine Productions will not give any new output windowalthough we can assume that Psychonauts 2 will be ready for 2019.
