This Sunday, December 10, a new wave of rain will approach the tip of Brittany and the Atlantic coast early in the morning. The sunshine will be rather generous in the morning from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes towards the Mediterranean coast and Corsica.
In the morning, the rains will reach a good half of western France. In the afternoon, the rainy disturbance will gradually affect the northern 2/3 of the country. The rains will be temporarily moderate, and the accumulation of precipitation will be greater over the Massif Central, and over the Northern Alps in the evening. 45 departments have been placed on yellow alert by Météo France, for various reasons.
8 departments are on yellow alert for winds, namely Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Haute-Savoie, Savoie, Alpes-Maritimes, Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud.
After experiencing strong gusts of wind on Saturday, the department of Puy-de-Dôme is now placed on yellow rain-flood alert, just like its neighbor, Cantal but also Haute-Savoie, Savoie and Isère.
6 departments are, for their part, on yellow avalanche alert, namely Haute-Savoie, Isère, Savoie, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Alpes-Maritimes.
