Return to Monkey Island: the new installment will drop anchor on Nintendo Switch

This new opus, soberly titled Return to Monkey Island, will bring the series started in 1990 back to life from its ashes. To be more precise, this game is the sequel to the first two titles of the license released in 1990 and 1991 respectively. You will regain control of the intrepid Guybrush Threepwood, a famous pirate sailing aboard his ship towards Monkey Island. From now on, he intends to unlock his secrets, regardless of the trials that await him.

This Point & Click adventure, still signed by the pen of the original creators Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman, will therefore see the light of day on PC, but also on the Nintendo console.

On the way to Nintendo Switch

The news fell during the Nintendo Direct, Return to Monkey Island will be released on Switch and moreover in temporary exclusivity. This pleasing announcement was accompanied by a small sequence of colorful gameplay.
