Even if we still don’t have an official date for the launch of the Free to Play version of Rocket League, its developers continue to prepare things smoothly with various announcements. While some of them relate to the system Rocket Pass which will lose importance while waiting for the launch, another one particularly catches our attention.
The game confirms that once it is Free to Play, it will no longer require PlayStation Plus or Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions to play with players around the world. You will no doubt have noticed that Microsoft’s paid service is not yet mentioned by the studio and we will have to wait a bit to see if Xbox players will be entitled to the same preferential treatment as their colleagues.
