Next March, Microsoft And Rare will release Sea of Thieves, a piracy game that will invite players to cooperate to find treasures and face hordes of supernatural monsters. These adventures will take place in a vast, colorful and exotic universe that the developers have built to offer many points of interest and other diverse and varied activities.
Today’s video is featured by art director Ryan Stevenson who shows off multiple environments like caves, vast bodies of water, tropical islands, and pirate towns. This world will contain secrets with stranded ships or even more mystical paintings. We don’t yet know what activities will be necessary, but they will undoubtedly require constant cooperation with the rest of our crew.
Moreover, Sea of Thieves will be fully playable in 4K on Xbox One X and today’s video reveals this magnificent version. The artistic direction and the lighting effects seem very successful.
The game will be released for Xbox One and Windows 10 on March 20, 2018.
