Sony Blocks Destiny 2 Cross-Platform

Although it is far from being the box as long awaited by Activision, Destiny 2 returns to be talked about today via a statement from Jason Schreier from Kotaku. The latter, who has many connections in the world of video games, is not the last to whom the developers confide and he often takes the opportunity to release some scoops.

This is once again the case during an audio intervention evoking many questions around different video game licenses. At one point, he returns to the Destiny case and explains that the Bungie teams had the ambition to allow the transfer of characters from one support to another, but that Sony opposed it.

The Japanese manufacturer would have blocked this possibility so that the franchise remains associated with the name of PlayStation. One thing is certain, this new controversy around the cross-platform may not embellish Sony’s image among players and all that remains is to wait for the firm’s response on the subject.
