How to program a Story with Spello

For creators and brands alike, Instagram Stories are an essential format for developing a close relationship with the audience. They represent an opportunity to communicate spontaneously about events, new products, or to highlight everyday life. On the other hand, the realization of Stories can be tedious, because it requires realizing, live, a manual publication. This problem is all the more important for publications outside working hours, which can represent a real difficulty for community managers.

To respond to this challenge, Spello is introducing a new feature to program Stories. From now on, professionals will be able to organize their publication calendar and schedule Stories at the right time, including evenings and weekends. The option allows you to schedule one Story per minute. Spello is one of the first platforms in the world to offer this function.

The programming tool can easily be combined with Swell Pixel, the image editor that aims to support you in creating visuals for social networks. Spello Pixel will notably allow you to add text to your Stories: it integrates Instagram’s color codes and typographies. Once your Stories are posted, you can analyze their performance directly in Spello.

How to program a Story with Spello

To program a Story with Spello, here is the procedure to follow:

In the bar on the left of the interface, select the Instagram account on which you want to post your Story,
On the associated menu, choose Program,
You will then have the choice between Post, Real Or Story. Choose Story,

At the bottom, click Import a photo or video in Story formatand import the media,
Below, select the day and time you want to publish your Story,
Click on Schedule this Story.

You can also publish via notification. By choosing this option, you will receive a notification on your smartphone (via the Spello app) at the time you scheduled your Story. You will then be redirected to Instagram to take advantage of its many options (filter, adding text, tags, etc.) before finalizing your publication.
