Square Enix files trademark for Visions of Mana

Square Enix recently filed a new trademark for Visions of Mana in Europe, Australia and Japan. As the brand title suggests, this could be a new entry in Square Enix’s game. mana RPG series.

The latest entry in the Mana series is Mana Echoes, first launched on April 28, 2022 for Android and iOS. Unfortunately, this mobile RPG only lasted about a year, with Square Enix confirming its end of service date for May 15 of this year. A new Mana game could be on the way, however.

Visions of the Mana brand

A new brand for Visions of Mana was first filed on November 30 in Japan and made public today, December 7. Square Enix has also filed a trademark for the title in Europe and Australia alongside the new Pixelight brand, which was also made public on December 7.

While the brands don’t definitively indicate that a new game is in development, reputable media outlet Gematsu notes that it has heard that a new Mana game is coming soon. If this new Mana game was Visions of Mana.

The most recent mana liberation is Legend of Mana. THE Seiken Densetsu III remake titled Mana Trials is the latest game in the series developed from the ground up.
