According to a report from GoNintendo, a recent sales results update for Aladdin Suika game reached 4.4 million copies sold. Just three days ago, the game reached 4 million, or around 400,000 copies sold in 72 hours. Around three million copies of the game have been sold in Japan alone. The remaining 1.4 million copies were sold throughout the rest of the world. Suika game became a viral hit last month thanks to its Western release last October on Nintendo Switch, so the sales momentum is expected to continue unabated.

The game’s official website describes it as follows:

Suika gamealso known as Watermelon game in English, is a Fruit Puzzle or Tetris game. In the Suika Watermelon game, players must stack watermelons, melons, pineapples and other fruits in a box so that they do not cross the line at the top of the field.

Fruits of the same species can be combined to evolve into a larger fruit, which multiplies the player’s score. The largest fruit obtainable is watermelon, and the aim of the game is to aim for the highest score possible before the box is full. Your goal should be to get a watermelon by combining all the fruits.

Suika game is available now on Nintendo Switch and most browsers.
