In “Lords of the Fallen“, you play as a dark crusader, a champion of the Church of Orius, and face demonic hordes as well as formidable bosses in two distinct realities. To triumph over these challenges, players have at their disposal the Umbral Lamp, a an item that allows them to transcend realms, interact with the souls of their enemies, and manipulate the environment. This Umbral Lamp also offers a second chance at defeating defeat: if you die in the world of the living, you will be resurrected in the Umbral, where every moment spent makes you more powerful.

The mechanics of the world of the dead are top notch!
An interesting level design,
History in the background,
The alternation of “double worlds” is original,
Character customization,
The cooperative multiplayer mode is welcome for this type of game!
The soundtrack is pleasant.

Weak points :

Bugs,
A jagged framerate sometimes!
Graphically coherent but we feel that the game is based on old-fashioned technique.
A combat system a little less demanding than the big names of the genre (and here more difficult)!

Less flashy, more annoying than other dark souls-like, but very interesting! This is a work that will allow you to satisfy your thirst for die & retry alone or with others! We recommend it for fans of the genre, and hope for the rapid arrival of patches to correct bugs and technical deficiencies.
