Sweaty Google, Stadia was close to being challenged by Walmart. His immense success could have taken a hit.
This is one of the leaks from the lawsuit between Epic and Apple which is currently being played out before American justice: Walmart was planning a cloud gaming service which was discontinued.

It looks like the onset of the pandemic has broken the momentum of the world’s biggest retail franchise, who eventually abandoned the idea.
