The PS4 ended 2017 with a bang with a new sales record. Even if we note a minimal drop during the holidays, the performances are very close and excellent, especially taking into account the presence of the Switch which celebrated its first Christmas.
On the other hand, and as a whole, 2017 PS4 sales were the biggest since Sony’s console launched on the market. As you will see below, the machine continues to explode the scores with 20.2 million units sold during the year, compared to 17.5 million for 2016.

The drop in price of the PS4, the arrival of the PS4 Pro and the catalog of games that continues to grow, are all factors that have made the success of the console.
