Dragon Ball, Silent Hill, Half-Life and even Bioshock, the publisher Third Editions has spoiled us in recent months with the release of several books dedicated to cult licenses.

The publishing house gradually revealed its program for the year 2017, and suffice to say that there will be some very heavy stuff for video game fans! You can find below the list of announcements arranged in chronological order of future releases:

  • January 2017: Skyrim: The Scrolls of Tamriel will return to Bethesda’s cult game.
  • March 2017: a few months after the long-awaited release of The Last Guardian, Third Editions takes on one of the most famous video game creators in the book Fumito Ueda: Another vision of video games. The book will not only focus on The Last Guardian, since there will also be Ico and Shadow of the Colossus on the program.
  • July 2017: The Legend of Dragon Quest will be released next summer to properly celebrate the 30th anniversary (in 2016) of this cult Japanese RPG saga. Unlike the books on Final Fantasy, this one will deal with the entire saga and not just one episode.
  • 2017: Third Editions tackles a license dear to fans of Western RPGs with the first Mass Effect trilogy.
  • 2017: after releasing works devoted to opuses VI, VII, VIII, IX, X and XII from Final Fantasythe publisher has teased some good surprises for 2017 concerning the cult saga which will celebrate its 30th anniversary.
  • Kingdom Hearts : no date or title for the book which will deal with the saga, but Third Editions has confirmed that a book is indeed planned and will be released more or less at the same time as the third opus.

A very nice program for 2016, especially for RPG fans. Of course, other announcements will follow on the publisher’s Facebook page over the months.
