Visual Novel Rail Romanesque Origin announced for PS4 and Switch

RaRo announced Roman origin of the raila romantic visual novel port to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch Maitetsu: Last race!!. The game will be released on December 21 in Japan and various physical and digital editions have been detailed.

Roman origin of the rail will be the last entry in the long term Maitetsu series, which debuted in 2016 for PC. A comic book version was serialized in 2017, and Maitetsu: Pure Station and the Roman rail the anime series would release in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Roman rail 2 will premiere in October, and Roman origin of the rail released only two months later.

Roman origin of the rail for PS4 and Switch

Physical and digital editions of Roman origin of the rail will be released on December 21 for 3,800 yen and 2,800 yen respectively. A limited edition will also be available for 11,800 yen including a Blu-ray disc of the Roman rail 2 anime and a three-disc voice CD album. At launch, the game will support Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. English support has not been announced, however.

The story of Roman origin of the rail includes 12 scenarios and 443 episodes. Each episode can be finished in about 10 minutes. Overall, the game includes revamped content from the original. Maitetsucontent of Maitetsu: Last race!!and the continuations of each route.

The Great Abandoned Railroad – a rail line that is dying with the development of new transportation technologies. In a corner of this world, a young man named Soutetsu Migita meets beautiful young women with unique desires and forgotten railroad control modules known as “Raillords” and begins to ride the rails of restoration.

The first Maitetsu Festival, an event for young women representing locomotives and railway lines, also known as Railords, has arrived. Inspired by the incoming fleet, Suzushiro decides to hold a summit for the Railords to share their thoughts.
