Sea of Stars tries to write a love letter to old RPGs while at the same time appealing to the features of new age RPGs. Turn-based RPGs aren’t at the forefront of gaming like they were in the early 2000s. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t passionate and talented developers creating new games. Speaking on Sea of Stars, developers Sabotage Studio have created a hodgepodge of a new and an old turn-based RPG. Although the game looks and feels like an RPG closer to the old days, its battles make you feel like you’re playing the latest Persona game. Let’s take a look and figure out what is Lockdown Battle System in Sea of Stars?

Each damage type has a symbol that makes it easier to determine which one you should use. Additionally, when you cancel their move, you will also gain some combo points.
