Despite mixed reviews when it was released last April, Yooka-Laylee has managed to breathe a little wind of nostalgia into the video game industry going back to the good old platform game. Alas, some players have been left on the sidelines, but fortunately they can get the title now.
Playtonic had indeed taken the decision to cancel the Wii U version to focus on an edition for the Nintendo Switch. After several months of waiting, this version is now on the eShop. All patches released after the initial launch are included and it is of course possible to play anywhere from the console screen. In addition, a unique success system has been incorporated for the occasion since the Nintendo machine does not offer virtual rewards, unlike the PS4 and Xbox One.
In addition to the Switch version, Yooka-Laylee is also available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
