Ni No Kuni: Cross World announces cross-play support.
The developer Netmarble announced this Wednesday (11/05), through a press release, the confirmation that the awaited Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds will support cross-play. The game also won a premiere date, scheduled for May 25th.
With the producer’s release, it was possible to confirm that the game will be compatible with Android and iOS devices, as well as PC emulators that replicate these systems. Known as cross-play, this support allows users to enjoy gameplay on both devices.
The novelty is especially advantageous for gamers who want to have a more immersive game experience, on larger screens, for example, and also for users who perform more than one activity, such as streamers.
The use of cross-play facilitates the transmission of the game during the lives, which increases the appeal of the game, already long awaited by fans of the saga.
In addition to the premiere date and announcement of integrated support, the release also revealed that Ni No Kuni: Cross World will come with five different classes available at launch. Each class comes with sets of customizable features and elements.
Other points in the saga remain, with an immersive world, anime-style design and familiars that accompany the characters. Scenario management and social interaction mechanics also remain similar to other games, maintaining the components that made the franchise famous.
So far, no streaming events have been announced to accompany the launch, but players and streamers are already gearing up to pick up the game, especially after confirming that support will be available.
Cross-play in Ni No Kuni: Cross World may attract more audiences
In addition to making the game more modern, support for PCs can also make Ni No Kuni: Cross World more attractive to other audiences, boosting its revenue.
That’s because mobile games are still a preference among gamers, especially due to their accessibility and lower prices than other consoles. According to a survey by Kanter IBOPE Media, released by the special article by Betway Insider, 83% of Brazilian gamers play on smartphones.
Furthermore, mobile games, which are only available on mobile phones, do not engage users on content platforms such as Twitch.
According to data released by the e-sports betting site, the most popular category is “just chatting”, when content producers are just chatting with the chat crowd. Special events come in second, and the most popular game is League of Legends, which comes in at just third.
Some mobile games found alternative solutions, such as Garena, developer of Free Fire, which launched its own streaming platform, due to this sharing difficulty.
As it brings betway storyBOOYAH!, Garena’s free platform, surpassed 2.7 million users, with thousands of transmissions.
Meanwhile, for games like Ni No Kuni: Cross World, which do not have this alternative, the feature can move more players and content channels, which helps to promote the game and, consequently, its popularity.
