After the presentation we missed the news today on SamaGame, but don’t worry, in this Night Watch we will still take it with us: the announcement of Oculus Quest. These brand new vr glasses from Oculus (the makers of the Rift vr glasses) are unique in the sense that no other system is required; you do not connect it to a console or PC.

So instead, the device itself is the system. You can download various games through an online store. Modern VR classics such as The Climb, Moss and Robo Recall have been announced. When the device comes out in the first quarter of 2019, about fifty games should already be available. It will cost $ 399.

Also announced is a new game series called Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series. This three-part series revolves around the ultimate villain and his castle on Mustafar, which we have already seen several times in movies. The first episode should be released sometime next year. Below you can see trailers of the Oculus Quest and the new Star Wars games.

Yo-Kai Watch 3 will be released in Europe this winter

In Japan they have been able to enjoy it for quite some time, but in Europe the 3DS game Yo-Kai Watch 3 should finally be released sometime this winter. The game will be released in the United States on February 8, so hopefully the European release date is close to that.

The game appeared in two different versions (Sushi and Tempura) in 2016 in Japan. It is not yet clear how the western version will work exactly. In any case, it’s a good preparation for the Yo-Kai Watch game for Switch that is in the works!

Hey, Geralt of Rivia is in the new Thronebreaker trailer!

Do you miss Geralt, our tough Witcher, that much? Fortunately, we finally see some of him again in the new trailer of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. It can only be seen for a short time, so do not blink.

It is the first single-player campaign for the digital card game Gwent, which of course is derived from the in-game card game of The Witcher 3. The story should offer about thirty hours of content in which each match affects the war that Queen Meve is waging . And Geralt apparently also comes into play!

The update also includes a new arena called Galactic Arena. Here, the profile pictures of players can be seen on large screens in the background. Nice for the vain players among us! More free content is coming to the game soon, according to the trailer below.

Remedy holds a panel at New York Comic Con

For the past few days, Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Alan Wake and Quantum Break, has been teasing for a big announcement. What could it be? A re-release of Alan Wake? A completely new game?

The end result is a little more disappointing than that. The developer will have a panel on Friday, Oct. 5 at New York Comic Con, where creative director Sam Lke and voice actor Courtney Hope will be in attendance, along with two more unannounced actors. In itself a nice thing, of course, but don’t hype your announcement in advance, Remedy! That can only be disappointing.
