Open Beta for Flying Wild Hogs’ sci-fi looter shooter Space Punks announced for April 20th.
Leading Polish developer Flying Wild Hog today announced the upcoming open beta start date of its top-down looter shooter space punks announced. Beginning April 20, 2022, PC gamers will be able to roam space through the Epic Games Store in Space Punks’ galaxy of guns, glory, and over-the-top action. This milestone is an important step in the continued evolution of Space Punks as a free-to-play title on the live service.
Developed by Flying Wild Hog Studio in Kraków, Space Punks is a free top-down action role-playing game (ARPG) set in a whimsical sci-fi universe. Players carve their way to fame and fortune by earning easy money in extremely dangerous ways. Space Punks is published by leading UK video game publisher Jagex, developer and publisher of the iconic RuneScape franchise. The company brings over 20 years of experience in creating vibrant games to the latest Flying Wild Hog title.
The open beta update
As part of the open beta update (or “The Cracked One” update for those staying tuned in), new and returning players will see the overhaul of the core gameplay loop with new “Get-A-Job” – and experience Craftron 2000 system improvements and new endgame content with “The Crack”. A new endless experience set in the depths of some kind of black hole. Up to four players can dive into these together to explore the unknown and reach infinity.
