Panasonic indicates it as an ideal tablet for those who work in field security, for police forces who patrol the streets, for technicians who monitor production lines, for those who carry out inspections and maintenance or for construction workers.

“Field workers need mobile devices designed around their work needs – not just another consumer tablet stuffed into a protective case, which would bring with it a whole host of potential problems,” he says Baris Koc, European Product Manager at Panasonic TOUGHBOOK. “The TOUGHBOOK S1 is just the device designed for them. It is built without compromise to meet the specific and practical day-to-day needs of both end users and the IT administrators who implement and maintain them.”
