How to get baby Pokémon Togepi, Pichu, Magby, Elekid, Igglybuff, Smoochum, Cleffa, Azurill, Wynaut, Munchlax, Chingling, Mantyke, Happiny and Bonsly in Pokémon Go
What makes baby Pokémon unique is that they hatch into eggs – which means you’ll have to walk a lot.
The distances you need to travel may differ depending on the event in question. Our Eggs guide contains the latest information for specific types of creatures, but in a nutshell, you can find them in Eggs of 2km and 5km Eggs and, if there is an event, in eggs of 7km. (To date, none have appeared on 10kms eggs, despite their rarity!)

There are other points that need to be mentioned:
- The frequency with which these baby Pokémon appear in Eggs can change during special events. An example is the St.Valentine’s Day event, where the Cleffa, Igglybuff and Smoochum rate has been increased.
- All baby Pokémon will have an evolution. Most of them can be captured in the wild, so if you want a complete Pokédex, try to capture these evolutions instead of evolving baby Pokémon.
